Westerly Senior Center

The Westerly Senior Center provides the opportunity for the "young at heart" to meet and enjoy a wide variety of social, educational, health, and recreational activities and programs and to promote the positive aspects of aging to them, their families, and the community at large. Anyone over the age of 55 can join the WSC and participate in their wide range of activities and services.  

We will practice a gentle physiyoga class that can be done seated in a chair or on the floor. It will help you find strength and flexibility with options that feel safe in your body. 

Classes cost $3 per session in cash once you are a member of the WSC ($25 per year with a one trial class) and you are NOT required to sign up!

WSC will provide a chair for you to use but please bring the following with you:

• A towel or blanket to put under your knees, bum, or head (it is great to have extra padding) 
• A full water bottle 
• Any other props you personally use and might need (such as a block, tennis ball, strap/band, foam roller, bolster, knee pad). 
• Mask (for walking to and fro)
